The M16 profile carrier is machined from 8620 steel and features a Black Nitride finish, forward assist serrations and a properly staked gas key. The bolt is machined from 158 tool steel for ultimate durability, has a Type 2 Bolt Face and a black O-ring insert on the extractor.
