Its pretty solid. I have it on a 5.56 pistol variant and its doing good. Holds zero after basic wear and tear accidental drops what not. Glass is clear and reticle is good for you if you have astigmatism or if you dont. Auto on & off and also if your application would be for closer targets the BRC I thought was pretty neat. Overall I give it a good rating. Scale of 1 to 10 on a tough scale Id give it a 7.5
No 1st-hand experience with Swampfox, but from what I've seen and read their optics as well as the company sounds good.
