I agree. Seems about $100 too high. Willing to take $300?
My coworker has a 9mm. Its not made for highway payrol, but its a nice little pistol. I dont think Id pay more than $275 flat for it though, thats just me.
add 3% because they just want you to if you use a card.
then add 20 bux shipping.. puts this gun well over 400 for a used 40 cal
once again i have to point out with all the rebates its not a deal..
and once you pay over 400 for this. you could have got a brand new 9mm cheeper..
can get a sheild cheaper.. can get the s&w2.0 cheaper.. etc...
not a deal. not even close for a use pistol like this..
You're paying for the history and collectibility. Smith & Wesson made this model with the integrated rail just for the CHP. They also made the fitment alittle tighter and the frame beefier. So you're not just buying another 40 cal here.
looks like a regular 40 cal to me.. the whole CHP deal isnt a seller to me, nor is it to most people that come here..
bottom line this pistol is over priced by about 100 bux or so..
That is because you are too ignorant to figure it out. Not sure why morons like you go to posts they have no intention of buying just to degrade the product. Dumbass...
And how many listings have you commented on?? Are you implying you buy most products on here? If so, I need a career change to whatever it is you are doing.
Value is not determined by comparing to a completely unrelated gun. Value is determined by what people are willing to pay. Run of the mill third-gen Smith and Wessons tend to start at $400 these days. Lots of varieties go well beyond that, some a bit below. 40 S&W tend to be the cheapest right now, but add that this is a TSW model and a custom one at that, and this is really a very good deal.
Obviously, if you have no appreciation for high quality, stainless steel-framed pistols that were originally sold for more than twice this amount and have some historical significance (and are no longer manufactured), then this might not appeal to you.
Brandon-I either buy or am interested in many profucts...what is your point? I go into many stores like Bass Pro and shop. Do I buy every product I like. No. But I don't go into a store where I have no intention on buying anything because I hate the store. Got it??? But I don't usually come on here and bitch about a product because it is too expensive, or not good quality, or because one is on his period...if this was a 45, I would have bought it.
