I keep seeing Charles Daly guns on here but have zero knowledge about the company. Can anyone enlighten me?
Sorry you got left hanging for so long, Charles Daly is just an importing company. They import a lot of weird junk from Turkey, but these particular 1911s are made by a manufacturer called Brixia in Italy. From what little I could find about them online, they produced shotguns for a while before buying up tooling from a defunct custom 1911 maker to start making these 1911s.
Just bit the bullet and bought one to try out. The case hardened frame and engraved slide sold me on it. Worst it becomes a truck gun, best case its a safe queen to keep that case hardening pristine.
Interesting that the add is back up and showing $349.99 but at the website shows $399.99 again. Does someone not know how to write an add?
I see $399.99 as well.
I ALMOST want to buy one just for the color case hardened frame and engraved slide.
This morning it was showing $369.99 for me but it now shows 399.99. Anyone else? I was hoping to jump on this deal.
It shows 349 now on PSA if ya still want it.

I just received mine from psa for 349 plus shipping and the theft of tax. It looks nice. trigger feels and looks like shit. The trigger fails to reset after each shot, you have to pull the trigger forward like a 1/8" for it to reset and shoot again. After looking into, i believe the mag is causing this issue. I got some decent brand mags coming in and a wilson combat trigger. shall see what happens. I can see marks on mag from trigger hoop, without mag in it functions like it should.
