I think EAA is just covering themselves if some dingbat blows up their gun with over loaded rounds. The manual states that the warranty is voided with the use of +p or any reloaded round.

This has nothing to do with EAA. The manufacturer, Weihrauch, states in the manual not to use .38+p ammo which makes zero sense. If the frame can handle .357 then .38+P shouldn't be an issue.

And it's utterly ridiculous that here behind the Granola Curtain, we can't get them because they aren't the 2" bbl 38Spc version because that's the only one left on the DOJ roster of "approved" handguns... >:(

CZ, any idea why you can't shoot .38+P out of these despite being .357 magnum revolvers?

Almost certainly due to standard legal boilerplate verbiage copied from the .38Spc version of the owner's manual. More common than you might think, and no need to change it since they'd want to protect themselves from some bonehead firing a bunch of 38Spcl in the cylinder & then loading .357RM into the dirty chambers and getting a K!b that wasn't in any way the manf's. responsibility...

Please elaborate on how shooting a bunch of 38 specials and then shooting 357 out of a dirty chambered 357 handgun will cause a kaboom?

Not sure what .357 RM is but on contacting EAA about not firing .38+P all they could tell me is "that is what Weihrauch tells us." They were not able to give me any reasoning for why this is the case. None, zero, zip, zilch. This despite the fact they've imported this item for many years and have serviced them for many years. Again, if the frame can handle .357 it can handle the force of .38+P. Btw, dirty chambers don't lead to kabooms.
