When it is time to get to work do you want a "thoroughbred" that can't handle the conditions or do you want a "Workhorse?" The Battle Arms Development, Inc. Workhorse is built tough to handle the tough jobs. Starting with the 16" 4150 CM steel barrel, with a 1/2"-28 threaded muzzle and A2 flash hider that is chambered in 5.56 NATO, with a nitride finish, the Workhorse can digest 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington with ease. The 1:7 twist rate performs well with the most common bullet weights. A mid-length gas system ensures reliable performance. Forged 7075 T-6 aluminum with a Type 3 hard anodized finish is used for the flat top upper and lower receiver. An enhanced nickel Teflon trigger provides a smooth trigger press and break. A 15" WORKHORSE M-LOK free-float rail provides plenty of area for mounting sights, lights, and lasers without any extra weight. The skeletonized pattern is lightweight and strong. The full length Picatinny rail aligns with the flat top receiver for use with back-up iron sights. For reliability, comfort and control the Workhorse has a B5 Bravo adjustable 6-position stock to customize the fit to the mission. When it is time to go to work in the field or on the range, you need a Workhorse!
