I had bought one of these many years ago when they first hit the market (roughly 12-15 years ago) and I can tell you the only positive thing I can give is the looks and nostalgia factor. Obviously being a 1911 platform and in the FDE color it is a good looking pistol. It actually feels good in ones hand as well and the fit and finish were fairly good for such a cheap pistol. HOWEVER...it was the biggest pile of crap when it came to firing it! It would not even get thru a single mag of ammo without some sort of failure or problem. This pistol would not fire any ammo that was considered "budget" ammo. The only round it would even try to get thru a mag with iapaàs the higher powered rounds like CCI mini mags, etc. But even with that it still rarely got thru a mag as intended.
It also was very inaccurate. Whether that was my own frustration with the gun or again an ammo issue, I do not know. All I can share is any distance beyond 3-5 ft the pistol had a very hard time staying within a 10" plate target. I verified this several times with different shooters.
So if you want a cool looking conversation piece it's great. If you want a reliable .22 caliber, plinking and target shooting handgun, look elsewhere!
