The Springfield Armory Hellcat Pro Comp OSP is a compact, striker-fired 9mm pistol that blends the concealability of the Hellcat series with an integrally compensated barrel & slide to reduce muzzle rise & felt recoil without increasing overall length. Unlike traditional compensator add-ons, the Comp model uses a single gas port machined into the hammer-forged steel barrel and matching port in the billet-machined slide to vent expanding gases upward, helping keep the muzzle down for quicker follow-up shots while retaining the Hellcat Pro footprint. The frame is polymer with Adaptive Grip Texture and a dust-cover accessory rail, while the optics-ready slide (OSP - Optical Sight Pistol) accepts many popular micro red-dot sights on the Shield/RMSc footprint without plates. Ergonomically, the Hellcat Pro Comp OSP retains the balanced handling of the Hellcat Pro platform with a slightly larger grip than the original micro-compact Hellcat, aiding control & comfort during extended shooting sessions. It ships with both a flush-fit 15rd magazine and an extended 17rd magazine, offering high defensive capacity in a still-concealable package. High-visibility tritium/luminescent front sight paired with a tactical rack U-notch rear supports rapid sight acquisition in varied lighting & internal passive safeties ensure secure operation under defensive use scenarios.
