Building upon the foundation of the SAUER 100 Classic XT, the Pantera XT introduces several enhancements to elevate performance and user experience. Key features include a black Cerakote finish on the barrel, action, and bolt knob, providing enhanced resistance to corrosion and wear. The medium heavy fluted barrel design reduces overall weight and improves heat dissipation, maintaining accuracy during extended shooting sessions. The barrel is threaded with a 5/8×24 pitch, allowing for the attachment of muzzle devices such as suppressors or muzzle brakes. An ergonomic stock with a neutral cast accommodates both left- and right-handed shooters, ensuring comfort and adaptability. The rifle also features a three-position safety system, a 60-degree bolt lift with a three-lug bolt head for smooth operation, and the EVER REST action bedding system to enhance accuracy by minimizing movement between the action and stock during firing. Available calibers for the Pantera XT include .223 Remington, .308 Winchester, .300 Winchester Magnum, 6.5 Creedmoor, and 6.5 PRC. SAUER recommends the use of factory ammunition to achieve optimal performance with the Pantera XT.
