The Chiappa Rhino, an innovative revolver designed by Chiappa Firearms, offers a unique approach to revolver mechanics and ergonomics. Made from CNC-machined high-tensile aluminum alloy, the Rhino’s frame is lightweight yet strong, with all internal components also precision-machined from steel for a precise fit. Available in calibers like .357 Magnum, .38 Special, 9mm Parabellum, .40 S&W, and 9x21mm, its most defining feature is the low bore axis, firing from the bottom chamber of the cylinder rather than the top. This design significantly reduces muzzle flip by channeling recoil directly into the shooter’s wrist, improving control and accuracy. The external cocking lever acts as a linkage to an internal hammer, minimizing external moving parts. Models other than the 2" 20D offer both single-action and double-action firing modes, while the 20D is double-action only.
