The Mossberg MVP FLEX bolt-action rifle stands out as the most versatile version in the MVP series, incorporating two patented innovations: the ability to accept and feed from AR-style magazines and the FLEX TLS (Tool-less Locking System) for modular accessories. Available in 5.56mm NATO (.223 Rem) and 7.62mm NATO (.308 Win), the MVP FLEX features standardized 18.5-inch threaded barrels ready for suppressors and optional Vortex-scoped combos. The 2017 lineup includes six new models with choices of black or tan 6-position adjustable tactical stocks and a black synthetic version with a 4-position adjustable hunting stock for the 5.56mm NATO. Introduced in 2011, the MVP’s Drop-Push™ hinged bolt design allowed AR15 magazine compatibility, followed by a second design accommodating 7.62mm NATO with M1A/M14 and AR10 magazine compatibility. The FLEX TLS System enhances versatility, enabling tool-less stock and recoil pad adjustments. Standard features include the LBA Adjustable Trigger System (3-8 lbs), FLEX 6-position tactical stock, textured forend, matte blue metal finish, Picatinny rail, spiral-fluted bolt, sling swivel studs, and a 10-round magazine.
