The FN FS2000 Tactical is a civilian-legal, semi-automatic variant of the FN F2000 bullpup carbine, chambered in 5.56×45 mm (.223 Rem.). It boasts a 17.44" cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel equipped with a ported muzzle brake to enhance shooting performance. The FS2000 Tactical is gas-operated with a short-stroke piston system and utilizes a rotating bolt for dependable operation and improved accuracy. A notable feature is its forward ejection port, which directs spent cases away from the shooter, enhancing user comfort. The carbine's ambidextrous thumbhole stock is constructed from matte black polymer, featuring molded-in sling attachment points for added convenience. It includes a top-mounted MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail for optics and accessories, along with emergency backup folding sights. Operating controls are designed for versatility and ease of use, including a left-side charging handle, ambidextrous magazine release, and safety switch located inside the trigger guard.
