The FN SLP (Self-Loading Police Shotgun) semi-automatic shotgun, introduced in 2008, quickly garnered acclaim for its performance, earning the 2009 Shotgun of the Year title from The American Rifleman magazine. It is renowned for its rapid fire capability, able to discharge 8 rounds in under a second. The SLP is built with a durable matte black aircraft-grade alloy receiver and features a synthetic stock for resilience and ease of maintenance. Its advanced gas operation system ensures reliable cycling, while the extended magazine tube and fully adjustable rifle sights enhance its functionality for a variety of shooting scenarios. The FN SLP boasts a matte black finish on all metal components and incorporates an active valve gas system and a two-piece bolt for optimal reliability. The receiver is made from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy and includes a top-mounted MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail. The 18" barrel is hard-chromed and equipped with a 3" chamber, and uses the Invector interchangeable choke tube system, with additional accessory barrels available.
