Since its first generation, the Tisas PX-9 G2 has seen a small aesthetic update. 27 different configurations are possible with the grip's updates, which may be achieved by switching off the side panels and backstraps. Additionally, a detachable magazine well is provided to make reloading easier. The magazine release may be switched to either side, and the manual thumb-safety is ambidextrous out of the box. The G2 version still includes a light rail and forward slide serrations, just like the first-generation PX-9. Additionally, it still works backwards with Sig P226 mags and S&W M&P 2.0 rear sights. While identical to the Springfield XD, the Zigana lacks the grip and trigger safety features in favor of a manual thumb safety that is easier to use.
