The firearm  still has reliability, a low bore axis, and a grip that works well for most hand sizes. Turkey is the country of manufacturing for the Tisas 1911, also known as the Tisas Regent. When it comes to fitting the 1911's trigger action, skilled labor is required, but today's CNC machining technology ensures a precise fit. There are different varieties of the Tisas/Regent handguns. The GI-type handgun is the most affordable and basic model. The front and rear sights on this handgun are the standard small, nearly embryonic ones.
