The Ruger 10/22 Competition is a precision-engineered .22 rifle designed for optimal performance in competitive shooting. Built with a hard-coat anodized, CNC-machined receiver made from heat-treated 6061-T6511 aluminum, it offers a match-grade feel by enhancing receiver-to-bolt interaction. The rifle features a proprietary enhanced semi-auto chamber that increases accuracy and precision without compromising the reliability of feeding and extraction. The BX-Trigger delivers a light, crisp trigger pull ranging from 2.5 to 3 pounds, with minimal overtravel and a positive reset. To further enhance accuracy, the 10/22 Competition includes a dual bedding system with a second bedding lug that securely beds the receiver to the stock. Its CNC-machined match bolt is heat-treated and nitrided for a smooth, tight-fitting action. The rifle also includes a 16-1/8" cold hammer-forged bull barrel that is fluted to reduce weight and improve heat dissipation. The barrel is threaded with a 1/2"-28 pattern.
