The Canik METE SFx is the latest evolution in Canik's line of semi-automatic sporting pistols, building on the success of the TP series with enhancements driven by consumer and engineering feedback. The METE series incorporates both external and internal improvements aimed at elevating the performance and user experience of the firearm. Externally, the METE SFx features an integrally flared mag-well for smoother reloads and enhanced grip support, as well as new aggressive grip texturing for increased stability. The double undercut trigger guard improves hand positioning, while the ergonomically redesigned beavertail enhances comfort during use. The slide includes a co-witness optics-ready cut, compatible with Trijicon RMRcc and other micro optics. The low-profile ambidextrous slide stop and angled rear sight edge improve functionality in various scenarios, including emergency one-hand operations. Internally, the METE SFx is designed for ease of maintenance and customization. The introduction of new push pins allows for quick disassembly and reassembly using only the provided Canik punch. The modular design of the internal components makes the firearm easy to service and customize. Additional features include a short-reset single-action trigger with nickel-coated action components, a durable Tungsten-Grey Cerakote-over-Nitride finish, 3-dot white sights, and a 1913 Picatinny rail. The METE SFx comes equipped with a comprehensive accessory package, including two magazines (20-round and 18-round), alternate backstraps, optics bases, a reversible holster, and a cleaning kit, all housed in a hard case.
