Introduced in 1996, the Glock 29 is a 10-mm subcompact version of the Glock 20. It is the smallest handgun on the market designed for a 10-mm cartridge. It has shortened grip and a lighter magazine, compared to its big brother, and it is about an inch shorter in height. The standard magazine capacity is 10 rounds. All this makes it ideal for concealed carry, self-defense, or even hunting. It is sturdy and tough, with an overall length of 6.97 inches, and dual recoil action greatly reduces the kickback, which is very important for a handgun that fires powerful 10mm bullets. Due to the slightly increased recoil, the Glock 29 is more accurate at long-range distances. For better results, it is recommended to hold the gun with both hands, for better control and accuracy. Earlier versions included hexagonal rifling in the barrel, finger grooves, and thumb rests, while an accessory rail was added in later modifications, as well as reversible magazines, a more aggressive texture of the grip, and the bigger mag release.
