Ruger Security 9mm is a double-stack, mid-sized pistol, dimensionally very similar to the Glock 19 and it has the same 15+1 capacity. It’s 7.24 inches long and its size and capacity make it very adequate for concealed carry. It’s a hammer-fired gun and the slide is a bit easier to rack than that of a striker-fired gun. The grip consists of a smaller circumference which is accommodable for people with smaller hands. The sights are drift-adjustable. In terms of safety, this pistol has a left-side thumb lever. The frame is made of glass-filled nylon, with fine texturing and a slight bevel on the grip for the index finger and thumb. The trigger is almost the same as LPC II’s trigger, very smooth and without a wall. The reset is a bit longer. The trigger has a passive safety system, and a manual safety is positioned next to the slide stop and magazine release, on the left side of the gun, which means that the handgun is designed for right-handed users. Overall, this is a very light, comfortable, easy-to-carry, and easy-to-rack slide gun for people with smaller and mid-sized hands.
