The Walther PDP stands for a performance-duty pistol. It is a successor of the Walther PPQ line. It is a 9mm, striker-fired, short recoil-operated pistol with 3-dot iron sights, compatible with Glock aftermarket iron sight lines. Compared to the previous model, the PDP has a longer grip and larger magazine capacity. The Walther PDP is available in full-size and compact variants with different barrel lengths. It comes with 2 or 3 spare magazines that offer a capacity of 15 rounds for compact versions and 18 rounds for full-size pistols. The series also includes later-introduced PDP SD Pro variants with a threaded barrel and improved trigger.
