$379 Sig P320??? - The Best Budget Handgun
How many of you guys like stupid questions? How would you like to find guns at crazy stupid prices, the best bang for buck? I have been doing almost like a series on guns that I've been finding at just crazy stupid prices, I found an AR-15 for $299, a 9mm, a decent 9mm for $149. Anyway, I love best bang for buck, right?
Often the best bang for buck is a company that most of us have never heard of or maybe you're familiar with, but what about Sig, Sig Sauer! How many of you are familiar with Sig? Another stupid question.
Sig Sauer is that genuinely associated with cheap, best bang for buck? What if it was? You go to my web page, I've got an email sign up, it's called crazy stupid deals, and I find the crazy stupid deals out there, and I kept seeing a Sig P320 coming through at $399, and I was pushing it out there, and then I saw it at $379 and I had to get one, because I had to see what kind of Sig can we get for $379. Well, there is only one way to find out, let's put this to the test.

Hey, guys, I'm Drew Case from Beyond Seclusion, bringing you the reviews directly here to gun.deals where I only give honest product reviews, no podium, no pulpit, and no politics.
Anyway, I got Sig 320 F9B, this is the cheapest Sig that I have ever seen, and so I kept pushing it out there in my crazy stupid deals, and I just I had to get one, I had to see how good of a shooter is this. We're going to do an out-of-the-box here, a quick specs and tech, and this is KISS, keep it simple stupid, I mean this has no bells and whistles, this is just a plain and simple Sig but with reputation, I'm just really curious how well is this going to shoot.
We don't have an optics mount here option, and those of you that follow me know that my eyes are starting to get a little bit aged, and so I have trouble sometimes with the iron sights, but we are going to stretch it, I'm going to see if I can go at 100 yards with this, but I'm not going to do a torture test like this, like I often do with guns, because it's a Sig, it's a Sig 320. Check out the specs and tech here and see what this is all about.

Super fast out-of-the-box comes in a nice decent case, we've got one extra mag, it comes with a mag in it, instructions, and all pistols have to come with a lock. We got five slots for the Picatinny rail here, the serrations on the front, they don't go all the way up, some aren't going to like that, I'm not sure that I really like that, they're okay on the back, they're pretty decent. We have an ambidextrous slide release, mag release, I don't think that's ambidextrous, I can't tell, I wasn't seeing that in the in the manual.
The trigger is really nice, about 6 and a half, just under 6 and a half. And then the etching and the grip, it's nice, it's not super aggressive, I think it's aggressive enough.
Sights, we have metal sights front and rear, they are adjustable for windage but not for elevation.
As far as breakdown in the slide open position, this little lever here, and it's bit stiff, you have to turn it all the way there, and then slide comes off, and then like everything else barrel pops out, reverse that, lock the slide open, drop it back up, that's it.
I wanted to open up the instruction manual and see if we can switch the mag release, and this is not an instruction manual, this is a safety instruction and warranty, and then you got to use, I'm sorry, I hate this, the stupid code thing because the operator's manual I got to have it electronically online, I mean, I'm sorry, come on, guys, give us a good old-fashioned owner's manual in paper, I mean it really doesn't cost that much more, and I know a lot of you probably absolutely love that, but I don't.
This doesn't even take you to the P320, it just takes you to their homepage, and then you have to go find and select the pistol, and then it takes me to a manual that has 133 pages and in that I was not able to find if it took plus P, very possible that I missed it sifting through all those pages, and I also was not seeing if I could change the mag release, so I apologize if I miss those, my thought is you can make an instruction manual specific to the gun, guys.
The other thing is not everybody wants to sit and read instructions on their phone. For the most part with what you're paying, most of the time for Sig, put an instruction manual in.
It looks great, it's simple, I love it, let's just have some fun back here at the CQB range, I've got some distances down there at 60 yards, we'll just see how it does. Bottom line: What are we getting? What can you get for a Sig for $ 379?
I forgot in the unboxing, this is KISS model so we don't have interchangeable backstraps or any modularity with that, we do have the classic Sig fire control group on the inside that we can take out, and you can also then change out the slide if you wanted one that's optics ready, but this is coming basically bare bones, guys. One thing that comes to mind is you if you're not into the red dot sights and stuff on a pistol, and I don't know sometimes how I feel about that, but as far as like bedside stand, self- protection or something, we've got the rails so we can put a laser light on there, and you have one of the most reliable firearms, I think, that's out there, at a good price, with not a lot of bells and whistles.
One of the things that I'd like to do with pistols, and especially straight out-of-the-box, is I like to start off at like 25 yards or 50 yards. My philosophy with shooting a pistol is if I consistently bang at 25 or 50 yards, boy, I ought to be able to hit over here at 10 yards, 30 feet, and even that for a lot of people with pistols is excessive, but it's far more fun, entertaining, and from your standpoint I think more informative. With these iron sights, and my not so good vision can I bang with this gun at 25 yards? Well, this is straight out-of-the-box, haven't done anything, let's see how the first few rounds go.
I love how that shoots, guys!
That does not have a lot of recoil, I've just shot a nine here not too long ago that has a lot more recoil. This is a heavy gun, but that is really comfortable. I actually had to kind of adjust my shooting there, just more anticipation, let's do 25 and then 50.
That's not bad for 25 yards and iron sights!
Something else that I didn't mention is the follower is almost Hunter orange, I've seen red on a few and stuff, but I really like this Hunter orange, it's really quick and easy when I look in the chamber there and see this, that was good thinking.
We're going to try way down there at 50, let's see how well we can do that.
You got to like that, guys!
Most of the time, I really these days with the age, I'm having trouble with the iron sights, these are really nice, the bright white dots and just the way they're constructed. Let’s see how well I can do this, I am actually right in between me, the camera is right here in front of my face, so I'm sort of looking a little gap underneath the camera and the tripod, but uh let's see how well I can do this, there we.
That worked, guys!
Let's just try the same thing one hand, that's another test I'd like to do, if I can fire off fast and controlled with one hand that usually says something about the gun.
Let's see if we can do that down there at 50!
The more that you get in a row the more you start thinking: “Oh, my Gosh, I can't miss!”Guys, this is awesome, it is such a comfortable shooting gun, and with iron sights, I'm really impressed how accurately I can shoot with the iron sights, cuz usually I need a red dot at that distance.
Guys, I could sit back here all day and just dump hundreds of rounds, and nothing's going to change, this thing is incredibly comfortable to shoot, easy to keep on target, low recoil, and accurate, at least hitting the steel. I'm not going to dump any more ammo for that. Let's jump over to the house and see what we can do at 100 yards with this and go from there.
We got a beautiful morning, let's see if we can hit it at 100!
And that's when you just drop the mic and walk away!
There you go, guys, I hope that this was helpful, I hope it answered questions that you have. Until next time on gun. deals, I'm Drew Case from Beyond Seclusion, happy shooting.
