Looks like pics have been fixed, now for the description... But with that said, a New HKVP9 W/Night sites for $499 is still a heck of a deal. The VP9 has been probably the most carried duty weapon I've carried for over 20 years. Super reliable, ultra comfortable for all hands and the thing is a rack driver out of the box. Oh did I mention the trigger? One of the if not he best striker fired trigger on the market for a stock, out of the box, pistol. Super nice!

While I agree prices are climbing, I can also say I will take a higher end built Turkish 1911 for this price over a low end off the shelf Kimber that'll cost you in this price range. For one the Turks are now making some very high quality firearms in high tech, modern firearms manufacturing facilities and they take great pride in their work as well, and 2 since Kimber moved out of Oregon years ago, their quality has gone WAY down. Your buying a name only... Sorry to the Kimber fan club but it's true. They're not making all handbuilt, custom 1911's they were known for here in my state. Their manufacturing facility was 15 miles from my home here in southern Oregon..

Obviously you didn't watch the news during the beginning of the war. All the ones given to citizen soldiers and volunteers were mostly stock, semi auto rifles. Even a lot of the regular army had semi auto versions on both sides... When you have to take up arms as fast as they did they took anything they could get.. hell even hunting rifles and shotguns.
