Ok thanks did not realize that. I went on my active junky account and did confirm I only got $3.30 back. Signing up via the link gets an additional $5 back. Makes the deal less appealing but I don't regret the purchase. I am unable to edit my first comment and reported it by accident
That definitely don't "pocket the rest". Some states require you to collect (and remit) sales tax on the whole pre-discount total. Same way some states require you to collect sales tax on shipping and handling, whereas other states don't. It would be crazy to blame a retailer for obeying their states sales tax laws. Do you really expect them to put their whole business at risk just to save you a bit on sales tax?
LOL Holy $@!+ ........ You're like a "Woman Scorned"; Over a $22 part no less? Hate to be around if you didn't get the correct change back!? I get being chapped about a Vendor, as I dislike "Classic Con", but damn dude, pick your battles. Even the military gets out of spec parts & assemblies that have been FQC'd! There are a multitude of reason why this is out of spec, two of which come to mind are. One could be to do that the paint/finish was defective (ie. mixed wrong, different vendor, defective batch, curing, etc.), The other could be that they aren't FQC'd after they are painted. Obsess Much?
After sending them pics of their defective charging handle, they insisted on sending me another. I said I didn't want another and that I just wanted a refund. That's when owner Laura decided to tell me that I'd have to pay return shipping if it's for a refund which is stated in their return policy... I was shocked and appalled. This was after I went through the trouble of taking pics from every angle and using calipers showing the charging handle was out of spec. After I called multiple times and stated to them that their own return policy states they will pay return shipping if item is defective, they finally decided to send a label. In short just avoid 22mods4all if you don't want to deal with a shady business. In the end they said they would send a check which they Never did. I ended up filing a claim with my bank to get a refund.
