I own the optic ready version. It is very reliable for me, eating everything I feed it. The trigger is a little spongy but a significant upgrade to any Glock. I got the gun c-ported and it is now very pleasant to shoot. Point of critique are the optics plate system which is crap and the fact that you cannot buy optic ready sights. Given the low price point and at least for me with well above 2k rds through it, the outstanding reliability, this gun is a steal. I still carry it regularly in a urban carry holster. The new slimline series of the STR-9 should be an interesting alternative to this first edition model as it has a RMSC optic cut and is only 1 inch wide. Time will tell.

Awful firearm - full of manufacturing masks out of the box.
- SHARP AF edges on the slide making it challenging to rack. - trigger is trash (look at the obnoxious curve) - Good luck finding magazines. - no aftermarket support (like a better trigger)
