I wrote a negative review of Locked and Loaded on 4/18 that was deleted. Maybe because I had links in it to recent reviews of the company? People buying guns from locked and loaded have a right to know what they are getting in for. Many people have been having bad experiences with them recently. Hopefully this review without links will not be deleted.
Beware locked and loaded located in Illinois. I ordered a Springfield Alpha from them on 4/10 at a good price based on an ad I saw on gundeals.net. I even posted it in a deals thread on a firearms forum where I am a member. I filled out my information including my credit card info (After reading their recent feedback and based on my experience with them I cancelled my credit card, I do not want them to have that information) and ffl information. I got an email back from customer support with an order #. All seemed well.
I did not hear anything after that. My wife gave them a few calls and basically after 2 days they said that they could not find the order and that I could order the gun again at a higher price. They said it did not matter that I had the order # and confirmation, there was nothing they could do.
Over the last couple of days I did what I should of done before ordering the gun, checked reviews on them. I found a lot of recent negative reviews about the company from Google Reviews and Yelp
I have done business with a lot of on-line firearm companies over the years. I use gundeals regularly. Locked and loaded is the only online company bad enough that I felt it worthwhile to warn others away.
In the end I am not out any money, (although I gave them my credit card information which in light of my experience was worrisome to me), but based on my experience and the experience of others I want to give people a heads up that this is not a good company to do business with. You may very well be wasting your time if you do business with them as I tried to do.
Optics Planet is a bad vendor within the gun community. They pay people to post reviews of products they carry and post good deals to suck-you-in. But their service is a total joke!!! They do not deserve what I consider a dream-job in the gun industry. I refuse to purchase anything from them. This is a good deal too, such a shame.

Their 320s are over priced. Their mags are super expensive. And with all the quality control issues (drop firing, p365 firing pins busting) they have had the last few years, IDK if I want to drop that king of money on their stuff. Plus they got the military contract because they were cheaper than Glock. Yet they are selling the same thing to the civilian market for 600+. That's not cheaper than Glock. Granted, the 19x is running higher than the reg gen 5. They can do what they want with their prices... But I can do what I want with my money. To each their own... And I still think sig is a great brand
