Same thing happened to me. Email I received after checkout listed them at 44.99 for a total of 214.95 after discount code. The next email with order# had them at 72.00 and a total of 350. Called Brownells yesterday evening and was told the dept that handles that was closed and it would be passed on. Haven't heard anything back yet. I just sent them an email asking why I was not given the 5+ quantity discount. Guess we will see what happens...
Something isn't right with the SKU/model number. That SKU/model number is for a different revolver, at least from an appearance standpoint. The one on the S&W site has "pro series" clearly visible. Maybe this is a different year?
Nowhere does Walmart say this is a .50cal can. They even list the dimensions of the Stout Stuff can and if you take a few minutes to compare it to a .50cal can you would see that it's smaller. So why would you think this is a comparable can? And other commenters say this is junk, Chinese junk at that. Yet, if you go to Walmart's site, this can rates 4.5 out of 5 stars with 128 reviews. Actual purchasers don't seem to think this is junk. And as for this dislike for Chinese products, I think that is comical. Take a walk through your house. Bet at least half your stuff was made in China. I haven't bought this can. I'm a huge fan of MTM. And an MTM .50cal can is bigger than a true .50cal metal can.
Had one, rear trunnion cracked where the recoil assembly locks in. It's a cheap casting. Got a refund and bought a wasr. Suggest you do the same. Mine broke after 200 rounds. It was a gb2 build kit with the palmetto finishing kit. Junk.
