SchwellerAmmo you are incorrect. The BUDC1114 will defeat .22LR. These ballistics panels are rated level IIIA and are capable of stopping calibers up to .44 Mag at 1,400fps. Level IIIA is NOT rated for rifle protection. Our ballistics panels are tested to and meet all NIJ certifications. Not bad for normal 147gr JHP; no expansion issue for 4 in+ barrel. Bought and weighted them vs 147gr HST; HST cartridges are around 4 grain more (not sure if that's just powder).

I have one Girsan, the Regard Six. It has the longer slide and was different enough that I wanted to try one. I've always had good luck with Beretta pistols and their clones. Even the Taurus PT92's I've had were always reliable and shot well, and I still have two, both are the 917C models. One stainless and one matte black. The plight of the slide vs frame safety has never been an issue for me. I converted two of my "F" model Beretta's to "G" models and have a factory G model 92X Centurion RDO. I was very surprised at how good the stock trigger is on the 92X. It's not the Performance model. The pull weight, take up and reset are about the same as a P226 Legion. Added a red dot and it's good to go. One big knock on Beretta for me though is putting plastic parts in some of their 92 models.
