For $50 I want to try it for spotting critters out to 100 yards, but the fact there doesn't seem to be a single review out there with ANY night vision footage makes me wonder how terrible this must be....even for that modest purpose. Also these are $70 on Amazon so that leads me to believe the $300 ("was") price is 100% pulled out of someone's rear. The $70 Amazon price also is free shipping as opposed to $15 s/h (with PITA Sportsman's Guide customer service) so that might be another thing to consider. And you don't want to sign up for that free trial of their club....it will take you a half dozen calls, emails, Bat-signals, etc to cancel it.
