Why is this twice the price of a D-60?

If this is "easily convertible," it won't be legal in any of the usual suspects where they used the PRK's mag ban legislation as their model. Does. Not. Compute! I suppose there are a few places that have more easily evaded limits on sale, so good luck to anyone stuck there, but history has shown drum mags are rarely the correct solution...

I don't understand why you'd want a drum magazine that only hold 10 rounds? What's the point in having this over a regular 30 rounds magazine? At this price I certainly couldn't justify buying these. Maybe I am missing something here but again just doesn't add up or make sense.

My assumption is so it can ship to restricted states and the user can accidently lose the screw / spacer / pin that restricts it to 10 rounds.

*I have not verified this but this practice is somewhat common on 30 round mags that are pinned to 10 round.

Regardless, drum mags are rarely reliable enough to be useful.

Well and the 10 rounds can't possibly be enough to fill even the straight portion of this mag; unless the aforementioned limitation failure takes place, the drum part would just be for show. Of course there are 10-rd Thompson drums out there too ...
