THESE GUNS ARE THE SAME EXACT COPY OF THE COLT GUVMENT 22. YOU CAN COMPARE THEM YOUSELF, SIDE BY SIDE. MAGS ARE INTERCHANGEABLE. THIS GUN IS A SOLID SHOOTER, ATE EVERY TYPE OF AMMO. OF COURSE YOU HAVE TO CLEAN IT TO AVOID JAMS.. AWESOME DEAL .
Cheaper to get the Hammerli version at Sportsman's and save the shipping charges and FFL fees.
Hear good things, but no optic option, and by the time you add more mags you're well into tx22 toro land.

Be aware these like most of the .22 versions of the names branded pistols that this is NOT a Walther/Hammerli manufactured pistol. These are made by UMAREX and just branded with permission from Walther. I can tell you that very few semi auto handguns are 100 percent reliable and many suffer serious issues with feeding, ejecting and cycling problems. A lot is caused by such variations in ammunition. Low power, cheap bulk ammo most likely will not cycle properly as it just doesn't have enough power to blow the slide back and cycle the pistol. If you buy one of these beside to only use high power, high velocity ammunition.
I've had a couple of UMAREX manufactured firearms now, 22 and bb gun, and won't buy another. There are a few pretty solid and reliable semi auto 22 pistols out there but none that are made by UMAREX.
I'd be game if the magazines weren't so expensive. Between the low capacity and magazine cost, I don't see how the TX22 with 5 mags isn't the default choice.
