You can get the same price on Amazon from the Optics Planet Amazon store. Free shipping with prime. Not the best options but if it breaks, I heard Vortex has been sending people the new Defender ST.
FYI,
These are now obsolete, that's why they are at a reduced price. I recently had to return one, they ended up replacing it. It was replaced with a Defender ST because Vortex has no more Viper, Venom, or HD red dots. The Defender has replaced them. And the geniuses switched footprints. So no more Vortex for me.
Just means it worth buying at this price. Break it after a year of abuse and get the defender as a replacement
I currently have one that you have to remove to change the battery, and I hate it. If I bump it on or forget, it is dead the next time I want to use it and then i have to re-zero.
Having to remove body to change battery coupled with no auto-off function is not a great combination.
But yeah its cheap and lifetime warranty
Amazon has been running this same deal for the last couple of weeks (FS w/ prime)......good deal/quality/warranty for an inexpensive red dot......don't get mixed up on the viper/venom.......this (viper) you have to completely remove to replace batteries while venom you can replace while mounted, otherwise not too much difference
It's hard to beat this deal if you're looking for a red dot that's fairly durable and has an unbeatable warranty. It's kind of a steal.

Oh man. Too bad I had bought one a few weeks ago. Love this RD sight. It's half the price of Trijicon but works just as good. I have both. The only thing I wished is that the selector switch let's you scroll up or down at startup, so the user essentially have the option to start at the biggest or the smallest MOA. Other than that, it works great. Mine came in zeroed already. Just one small adjustment at the range and I was doing target practice the rest of the time.
