I've had two of these and, after a while, the buttons stopped responding properly.
The first one failed after about 3 months. It would sound like the button push was accepted, but would not open. The replacement lasted about 3 months as well before the same thing happened. Not mashing the buttons or crushing them, just enough pressure for the button 'beep' to sound.
Sure the little key thing still works, but that is not the point of this box.
Waste of money from my (anecdotal) experience. Nice idea, but electronics or something.
$5 non-member surcharge (I don't have a Costco within an hour of here, so would rather pay that, than get a useless-to-me membership), plus sales tax.
Currently back-ordered until the 18th, but the $20 discount should still work, if ordered by the 12th.
Don't buy these drop-down door safes, no matter what brand or interface. They all operate via a cable, and the cable can be defeated in less than 10 seconds. Plenty of YouTube vids showing this.
