The B&T USW (Universal Service Weapon) was developed specifically for law enforcement professionals who needed a weapon with the compactness of a service pistol and the accuracy akin to a pistol caliber carbine. The USW achieves this with a spring loaded folding stock, allowing the operator to effectively engage targets at ranges over 80 yards away when the stock is deployed. The stock is narrow, lightweight and quickly extends, but doesn’t affect the pistol’s performance when folded.
In addition to its impressive accuracy, the USW itself is packed with user-friendly features. The front of the slide sports long cocking serrations with an enhanced front cocking index, allowing the USW to be easily racked from multiple shooting positions. The USW also comes with a de-cocker allowing the loaded weapon to be holstered or stored safely, as well as a threaded muzzle for use with a suppressor or other muzzle device.
