Own/shot tact & duty comp and px-9 carry (non comp)
Trigger best on the red tab safety version, but gun out the box had more than a few ftf/fte/dead trigger but light strikes on magtech 115 and 124 blazer.
The carry (non-comp) also has rubberized side panels and though feel GREAT, somehow tend to get slippy under sustained shooting.
The comps have basically non-existent texture (Circe Gen 1 M&P exactly). HOWEVER, these all point extremely well/naturally, shoot even better and group exceptionally well, even out to 15-25 yds.
Tact (5.1) comp is my fav and feels near indentical to a 47.5 with a Ramjet and Apex trigger.
Reviewers bitch about the long reset, but you wont even notice or care once you see how well these groups with minimal effort (input) from you—-making the slicker than snot texture moot.
I believe they have three different comp'ed versions. Carry comp, duty comp, raptor comp. Carry comp is 15/18 rounds compact pistol, the others are 18/20 rounds full size pistol. The raptor comp has a slightly longer slide than the duty comp. Hope I'm right, hope this helped.
This pistol is misrepresented. It is not 18/20 rounds but 15/18. ALWAYS compare UPC's with other sites to make sure what you are purchasing.
As you probably know SDS no longer is the importer of Tisas, it is now Tisas Arms Corp. I emailed them some time back and they finally responded. Here is what they said, "Raptor was the name used for the models when SDS imports was distributing the models. I compared an SDS imports model with a current sku of what is being imported now through our US facility and the models appear to be the same, duty being the size, the full size, and the raptor meaning that it has the comp, and tuned flat face trigger. The current sku for that model would be the SKU #10100567 PX-9 Duty Comp UPC:711500175906"
PSA has these listed as Clearance. Are these being discontinued or is Tisas rebranding now that they've ended agreements with SDS?
Does anyone know the difference between the PX-9 Carry Comp and the PX-9 Carry Raptor Comp? The Raptor Comp is not listed on the new Tisas website.
