Built around Tisas' forged slide, frame and barrel that are machined to exacting tolerances the new Double Stack models combine all the features of modern high capacity 1911 pistol with the reputation for quality and value we are known for. Tisas 1911 Double Stack model’s polymer grip modules have 25LPI checkering on the front and rear and molded texture.

Is it gen 1 or gen 2? Website mentions no MPN. Picture looks like gen 1?
We actually checked out inventory yesterday after receiving this question through our website - and our current inventory reflects the Gen 2 model with bull barrel
I'd say Gen 1 based on the thinner slide serrations. Tough to say based on the lack of details in the listing.
I'll put in a good word for my Tisas 1911. 400+ rounds w/o any failures. I did swap the main and recoil springs. And a bit of light sanding with high grits for some polish. Love the thing.
