The Taurus Judge Public Defender SS (Stainless Steel) chambered in 45Colt/410 Ga is a versatile revolver capable of taking on a variety of rolls from personal defense to pest and snake control. The ability to fire any combination of 45 Colt and 410 Ga ammunition means your loadout can be tailored to any perceived threat or the possibility that the threat can't be anticipated at all. Bright orange fiber optic front and fixed rear sights provide fast and accurate target acquisition even in low light situations. Because the Judge is a double/single action revolver it cab be carried in double action with a longer heavier first pull that is more resistant to an accidental trigger pull. Follow on shots will be in the single action mode with a shorter, easier trigger pull. By pulling back the hammer in anticipation of firing the gun, the first shot can be made in the more precise single action mode. A transfer bar safety prevents the hammer from contacting the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled. Ribbed rubber grips help manage recoil for greater control and a more comfortable shooting experience. The taurus Judge continues to earn its reputation as "the original five-shot game changer".
