Trigger is really good once you get used to it. It breaks really far back-almost to the grip. That being said the reset is short and tactile. In short, great. After a few mags you'll find yourself riding the reset and getting nice fast follow up shots.

I have friends who can't get past the long trigger pull, but it's not bad at all.

This feels like a 400.00 gun. It replaced my Sig as my EDC.

If you want one of these, they pop up on PSA every now and then and you don't have to pay 30$ to ship. I may be wrong about this, but I'm pretty sure these come from the factory with 2 mags as well. If they open up the boxes and take a mag out thats not a company I care to buy from.

No, but with PSA you'll still have to pay 17 to ship. Anything over 10 to ship is inflated shipping in my opinion. I agree though anyone who snags mags out of the box (like Gunprime appears to do here) I would avoid. Why does this seller take them? Rather bizarre, I guess they think buyers won't care or they have found they can sell the magazines easily...or both...

Not just inflated shipping... The ad says it only comes with one mag. Standard PT111's come with two. Gunprime might be breaking open the boxes and taking the extra mag to sell later.

Are you serious! $29.99 Flat Rate Shipping. Low advertised price to attract your attention, then screw you on shipping. "Gunprime", listen up. I hate to break the news, but the gun buying public isn't going to buy your guns. Enjoy your rapidly approaching bankruptcy.

$20 cheaper at Kentucky Gun co if you include shipping.

Good price on the gun, but the 29.99 shipping plus my FFL's 25 dollar transfer fee kills the deal me.

Its striker fired just like most polymer pistols. The trigger is not bad at all. Its called "double action" because it has2nd strike capabilities. Meaning if the round does not fire you can simply pull the trigger again without having to rack the slide like most pistols.

Any owners out there can comment on what the trigger is like? This description says DA only. Is that true and how heavy is it?

The trigger pull is similar to a Glock or other striker-fired polymer gun, with that "springy" feel at the break, but longer and a bit grittier. With use, the grittiness will smooth out. The trigger break happens really far back, though - if you have very large hands, you might find it awkward. It's not too heavy, but the second-strike capability means there's a lot of very light take-up travel in normal "single action" use. It's maybe a 7 or 8 pound trigger pull. Not a "target" trigger by any means, but plenty good enough for a $200 self-defense pistol.

+1 to all the positive reviews here. I own one and have not had a single hiccup.

IMO the best sub $250 pistol available. I've owned several of them and everyone has been a brass eating machine. Any kind, any weight it'll eat it. Pretty good accuracy as well. I love the fact for almost the exact same size as the Smith and Wesson shield but it holds 13 rounds instead of just 7 and it has a rail for accesories. Very ergonomic and fit very nice in the hand. The only concern I've ever found is the looong trigger pull and when new they can be a bit creepy and gritty. But if you know what your doing they can easily be improved and made to feel much smoother and lighter with a bit of polishing and manipulation of the trigger bar. Along with the lifetime warranty this is a great gun and decent deal except for the overpriced shipping...

Don't forget it says it only has one clip as well. So this is a pretty bad deal.
