It's a 1913 mount to add a folding brace or stock (if you SBR)... they sell the same thing with the Strike Industries folding brace included as well, this SKU just lets you add your own of your choice or use one you already have.
If you buy the Strike brace when it's on sale for $120, this drops the package to ~$100 less than the full kit usually runs. Get this and the $250 Rossi RS22P (that incudes the Strike brace), and you're effectively getting the RS22P for $40 compared to the full Taurs/Strike kit.
As for the GX4, I like mine. It preferred 124s for the first couple of hundred rounds, but runs 115s just fine now. I'd buy this frame by itself if I already had the XL or Carry, but I'd need either need to buy an XL slide/barrel or a barrel/comp kit to use with this frame (only carrying over the FCU), which makes it more expensive than it's worth (especially with the full gun sans brace at this sale price). If these sans-brace kits keep dropping in price, I'll likely bite at some point since I already have a folding brace I can use.
How does this stabilizer even function? Its not gonna go to your shoulder right or is it?
