Hope this gun turns out to be reliable. Got burned by a bad PT111. Would love to see this become a super deal in the micro line up of 9mm pistol options. Best case scenario would be if it forces S&W, Sig, and Springfield Armory to *drop* their prices!

I did a lot of research before purchasing my GX4 and guys say they're reliable. They have been out for a while so I would think they have worked out any kinks or issues in the first batches. The customer service is amazing. Mine was supposed to ship with two 11rnd mags and I received one 11rnd and one 10rnd. Called customer service and they had another 11rnd mag in the mail that day no questions asked. I've only put about 50 rounds through it and I was very impressed. The trigger is absolutely perfect for a CCW in my opinion. At this price point I think this micro is a winner. Almost identical in size to my buddy's Sig P365. I like the sights on the Sig better but the trigger on the Taurus was much better in my opinion. These can be had for less than $300 for the black slide version. If you are on the fence I'd say go for it.

My LGS has the black slide one for $350 out of the door. So if it is going for $319.99 as some replies mentioned, I do not see the value in getting it from Palmetto vs buying local.

But, how do these shoot?

Sometimes they put it on sale for 299 free shipping. I'd wait for that one. I have the black one I got at BiMart in June and a Coyote one I got several weeks ago. I love them and they shoot great and point of aim. I put Glock Truglo night sights on both, got them for a little over 50 bucks each.

I know alot of people out there bash on Taurus firearms but in reality the company has really turned it up a notch and is creating some great, affordable pistols for anyone needing a self defense and home protection pistol. We all know any time a weapon is used In any sort of police investigation that it could take months if not years to get it back. So these are great for that too. I've owned, bought, sold, traded etc probably a dozen or more thru the years. I can honestly say that years ago when they started doing alot 9f higher volume exporting to here, the American market, that quality control sucked! And yes the firearms suffered serious issues with reliability and full use with dependability.
Fast forward to about 2008-2010? They started making alot of them here in the USA and quality control went way up as did the standards. I have seen the whole line of pistols. From shit, to affordable, reliable, firearms. If your in a budget then I certainly would consider this gun. The only real complaint I have had over the past 10 years is over their triggers. Yes they are extremely long, not the smoothest with a bit of grit and creep as well as a fairly heavy pull, they take time to get used to. I have seen many triggers smooth out after the required 200-250 round break in period. I will also say this statement is more about older models. I have yet to shoot this new model and cannot give an exact educated review. From what I've read and seen in video the new GX4 has a very much improved trigger so I am going to buy one to compare with older models like the PT111 G2.

When I go to PSA it says it costs $319.99

I received one. It came with 10-round magazines, even though the description said 11-round. I called PSA and they said it was their fault, but could do nothing about it as they don't stock them, they come from distributor, and do not have 11 round mags in stock. PSA used to be good. No more.
