After reading your comment, I ordered the Hogue grip. It does make my gun feel more secure, and comfortable in my hand, which is well worth the small investment.
I echo duncanjc1's comment above. Great little revolver. And even $289 isn't a bad price. The little extra weight of this all stainless model makes it very shoot-able. Also love that it is 6 shot not 5. 2 thumbs up from me.
I picked one of these up in late 2019 for $229 shipped. It has exceeded my expectations in every way. I hate seeing the price get this high, but in today's market it is still worth serious consideration. If you want a gun that is small, simple to operate, and extremely reliable, this one is it.
I carried one everyday for the last year, I like everything about the gun except the grip, changed it to a hogue grip and am completely sarisfied
