Chambered in 9MM and feeding from Glock magazines, The Tactical Superiority Tac-9 comes standard with a 8.5 inch 416R Stainless Steel barrel. The bolt, front trunnion, and steel upper receiver all feature a Nitrided finish for excellent corrosion and wear resistance. The lower receiver is milled out of Billet Aircraft grade aluminum with a Mil Type 3 Hardcoat Anodize.
At the heart of the TAC-9 is an all steel bolt which works with a standard AR-15 fire control group. This offers superior reliability and maintains the same manual of arms that users are accustomed to, decreasing training time on the new platform. You can drop in a lot of your favorite aftermarket parts as the Billet Lower Receiver is milled out like a standard AR-15 trigger pocket.

Is there anyone out in this gundeals world that may have this pistol and want to share your thoughts and opinions about it? It's a new platform I've never heard or seen before which is rare for me. Id like to hear some real world feedback. Seems a good deal?
So after some digging I found out that this particular company is simply manufacturing the gun that was developed and made back in the early to mid 90's under the brand "Sol Invictus Arms tac-9". I'm not sure of the politics, reasons why companies changed if they actually did or whatever, all I know it seems to be the same pistol. Here's a video I came across.I will say that it is hard to find this actual pistol being sold right now for under $750, some are as high as $900 like at Buds....

Don't know a lot about the company Sol Invictus and the status or lack of but I have shot one, 100 ish rounds, decent reliability shooting CCI Blazer Aluminum for testing. It would be a tough buy for me though because if you "need" a weapon like this the Freedom Ordnance FX9 9mm FX9P8-T ($40 ish more) and Extar EP9 (same price) are much better options in this price range. If you get what post a follow up, I would like to know about the longevity.

I have an early production one from sol invictus that I bought on gunbroker from a liquidator after SI went out of business. It’s pretty neat for what it is. It is a simple blowback so the recoil impulse is sharper than something with a delayed blowback like an mp5, or a tuned buffer setup like a properly tuned ar-9, but it’s fairly compact with a folding brace on it. I equate the feel to that of something like a tec9 only it takes Glock mags and actually cycles. At $500 if you are interested in some kind of 9mm blowback, budget for adding a brace to it, and I think it’s a buy.
