Got one, one I got looked unfired. Has some magazine wear. Thinking about getting another one and trying to find a 357 sig barrel for it.

The SAVE35 code worked. This used gun was in excellent shape. Three magazines and all three palm swells. Fired case matched gun serial number so gun was made in 2006. Sights still glow. Looks like a Barney Fife. Lucky me. Shipped free and fast. Came with case from the factory.

Just Buy A New One

Do a search. I'd rather buy a new 9mm for $399. Then get the S&W military/vet $50 rebate.

$314 the cheapest its ever been? Are a majority of you getting dead night sights recently?

This code worked for me. Just make sure you use caps when typing in code.

Really sorry to hear about your experience Juggar. You may very well have been one of the "few" on this particular deal.
My experience was very different.

I got a damn near new gun with very, very little wear. All 3 mags, 4 grip sleeves (2 large 1 medium 1 small) manual and even some holster warranty card that the previous po-po must have had.

I honestly don't think the gun saw more than 2 clips fired through it before I got it. All three mags are so new they won't even hold a full 15 rds. Can only put it 14...no biggie in my book.

It was very clean but showed signs of being fired in the barrel. It was clean as a whistle in two swipes of a bore brush. Trigger is VERY good in my opinion. I was prepared to by an APEX system for it after reading reviews but my gun's trigger is way more than acceptable.

The only thing I've changed on the gun since I bought it was a replacement tritium night sight front sight from Optics planet. Also well worth the price in my opinion.

I've already got 450 rounds through the gun and it's been flawless and very accurate at 15 yrds.

I'll admit that I've been very wary of Buds for some time now but THIS particular transaction was fast, clean and as advertised. I'm very pleased.

Again, sorry to hear of your problems Juggar.

Well fuck me. The one I got was NOT in "great condition", it was "Fair" at best and might have marginally passed as "good".

Some dumbass idiot painted yellow all over the night sights rendering them useless and the slide release is fully worthless. takes two hands to operate the slide release. Unreal.

There was rust in grooves on the back of the slide and on the front of the gun as well and it obviously had never ever been cleaned. Ran a wire brush through the barrel and a surprisingly large lead dust cloud came out.

The one time I dont fully inspect a gun at the shop I get bend over a barrel... I know its partly my fault for accepting the transfer but Jesus.... they did not send me anything like what you guys got. I received a tired worn out workhorse.

0/10 no more police trades for me. Gotta buy new sights now and deep clean it.

Looks like they are going to take it back but on my dime for shipping. Fair enough, I did take it home. Better than having to spend over $100 on new sights and ill get a full refund.

So ill probably be out around $45 total on this deal. $15 for when i got it from my FFL and $30 to ship it back.

Oh well, it could be worse. At least they accept returns after FFL transfer.

Guys, just be sure to really inspect the gun you get. Looks like these range from range queens to worn out workhorses.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I was on the fence and will now pass on this deal. How does refusing to take delivery from the FFL work anyway? My FFL would blow his stack.

Buds will give you a return UPS label and you'd give it to the FFL. I think thats how that works. Just be very sure to make sure you have good night sights if you get this. I did manage to sell mine for $340 on armslist so thankfully I lost no money.

Ordered mine with no insurance or warranty after using the SAVE35 code. Amazing deal IMHO. Holster wear near the rear sight was visible along with a little on the slide release. Beyond this, the gun was in 95% condition or better. Seems like it might have only been used for qualifying. Test casing was from 2011 and the sights still glow pretty well. Gun is very smooth operating and trigger is one of the best I've fired on a striker-fired gun. I assume the trigger is stock, but have no way of really knowing. I wish I could find the 9mm version in a deal this good. A few months ago, these were shipping with little to no extras and with much older pistols. This came with every thing a new pistol would and I'm very pleased.

Ordered mine with the code received a firearm in excellent condition. Better than expected. Night sights are still bright and usable compared to another set on a pistol that I bought brand new. 3 magazines work great. All accessories were included. Good deal. Did not use credit card but did pay for shipping insurance. Took an extra week to process but I was not in a rush. Would recommend.

Code still works SAVE35. Just used it tonight. Total was $318 including insurance and NO lifetime warranty. Looking forward to see what "The Luck of the Draw" brings me. Stay Tuned.....

35OFFSCF still works on the M&P45 also, didn't get it to work on their other police trade-ins.

This code no longer works.

Came to $327.42 total. $4.00 insurance. $9.42 credit card 3% charge. You don't have to use insurance. I will update on the condition of the pistol when I receive it. If its in decent shape, then a 9mm barrel and magazines will be soon to follow.

Update: The pistol I received is "like new", almost unnoticeable holster wear. Three magazines and all three backstraps. Came in the matching factory blue box with all accoutrements. Manufactured in October 2012, or that is what the fired case envelope says. So the night sights have a good decade left in them, the rear sight is marked "M&P" on top, but the underside is marked "Trijicon". I know because I put a full Apex kit in this gun. Such a good deal that I ordered another.

Get mine on Monday. Crossing my fingers on condition, but man....for $314 after the code (which still works), this is a steal.

Update: Came with box, 2 straps (1 missing, but no problem for me), 3 mags, all paperwork, fired casing, no lock (who cares). Night sights are pretty much dead. Other than the barrel smiley, really pretty minimal signs of wear, and it was fairly clean. Definitely not new, but considering the price, VERY happy.

Pistol received, LIKE NEW, seriously, blue box that is factory labeled to the gun. All three backstraps, three magazines although one doesn't drop free. Night sights are still visible in low light. Cable lock, owners manual and warranty card still in the box. Carbon inside, so it had been shot more than just at the factory. This is a model without the key lock. Does have the magazine disconnect, which I would rather not have, but can't complain.

His was flawless. I was a bit jealous. I would have bought one but just recently picked up a nano.

If your picking up in person, you may be able to have a choice if your not happy.

I had it shipped to my ffl dealer, so just luck of the draw. If it's rough I can make it my beater.

I went with my buddy last weekend to pick this up. Came with night sites, 3 mags, extra grip, and case. He purchased online and picked up in LEX @ buds. Gun looked brand new. They were selling other MPs (trade in) for 299. The rep stated that the 299 deals were worn and the internet priced MPs are excellent condition.

There was a coupon code for this last week for $35 off. I bought one. Cost with coupon was: Pistol $314, insurance (not required) $4, cc fees 3% something around $9 to $10. I will try to find the code if someone needs help. Not sure if it is still good though.

I just realized this coupon code works for the S&W M&P45 police trade also. It is for 35.00 off. When I spoke to Bud's customer service they said this code is not valid, but it sure worked for me!

I tried it on the m&p 9L and it didn't work. But, look through their police trade-in section, add what you like to Your cart, enter the code and......maybe, just maybe.

Edit: maybe it was the 40L, anyway.

After a bit of research, the Buds Guns M&P40 trade-ins are magazine disconnect models and CDNN specimens with the one magazine do not have the disconnect.

I picked up a police trade from CDNN last month for 330 shipped, but it only came with 1 mag. This is an awesome deal if the condition is similar to the one I got from CDNN sports. They stated that they were in very good condition and they weren't lying. My specimen had almost no holster wear, looks like there was 200 rounds put through it, and the night sights were still bright. I did a check of the serial and it was manufactured in late 2009/early 2010..

Like I said, if these are from the same stock or in the same condition, this is a great deal.

Want to know why they traded them in. They suck. To many FTF and stove pipes. Get a glock, or almost anything else.
