I have this core watch buy extra wrist bands because they break.

This deal looked good and I ordered one. Even upgraded to the higher level Alpha model. However, upon receiving it, I noticed a few things. Out of the box, there were no protective top and bottom cover films on the watch. Also noticed the bezel with the top two luminescent indicators were not aligned with the reference line on the crystal face. It is off just slightly, enough to annoy you everytime you look at it. No amount of adjusting makes it line up. Very disappointed especially this model is touted as “Made in Finland”. I told SUUNTO I suspect this was a once returned item that they just resold it. Returned item.
Just a few impressions about this watch. I know many people love it. However, the most common comment seem to be, and I agree, is that the display is way too dark not enough contrast. The highest contrast is still muted. Combined with any glare or low ambient light, you struggle to see the display. Even the backlight/night setting is too dark.
Otherwise a very handsome watch and probably very useful. Wish it was better.
