It has all the power, reliability, performance and safety features that are standard in STR-9 line, and delivers them in a more compact version that is optimized for ever-day carry. Each STR-9 comes outfitted with a three-dot sight system featuring snag-resistant edges to ensure smooth draws and holstering. Among the STR-9's integrated safety features is a tactile loaded-chamber indicator on the top of the receiver that automatically raises when a round is chambered. This allows the user to confirm the presence of a round in the chamber by touch in low light. Three interchangeable backstraps (small, medium, and large) offer a custom fit to get you on target quickly.

It looks like there's a mistake in the ad. Is the $219.99 the actual cost of the gun, or is that what it costs after the $50 mail-in rebate? The price would be $169.99, not $149.99, if it's the original cost.
I own the C, SC and just ordered the MC, don't overlook Stoeger and you can buy three for one vs a G19/26/43 plus a trigger upgrade to get it up to par with the Stoegers. Beretta, Benelli, Stoeger all one big company so quality is not an issue. Don't miss the rebate as it really turns these guns into incredible bargains. Better trigger and better ergonomics than competitors in same class.
Bought one of these during the last rebate $75; final cost $125. Reliable and accuracy is adequate, which is fine for its intended purpose of CQ self defense/ point shooting. Lives in my truck and is easily carried on hikes.
