Purchased Saturday 11/16 from KYGUNCO. Shipped Monday 11/18. FFL called me to pickup it up 11/20. Rebate submitted and accepted online 11/20. Great experience with KYGUNCO and the Micro 9mm seems pretty solid. Mine came with 2 magazines(one with pinky rest), magazine loader, hex tool, firearm, and a thick user manual in color. For a micro feels better then I expected in my large hands. Trigger safety.
I just bought one from AAFES the base exchange with the rebate $150
Stoeger was a bit late to the MC game, otherwise this would have flown off the shelves like the 9F did.
Really dont know why they keep giving them away, most of the buyers like us have many different guns, that are buying them because they are such a ridiculously good value with a $75 cash rebate/30% of the $ 233 sale price that can only leave a few dollars left for the dealer's time and trouble. Meanwhile, if Stoeger sent marketing reps or goodwill ambassadors out to the ranges to conduct Range Day's for try before you buy (a Glock, Sig, SW) promotions, I bet they'd spend less and be way more effective as long as they have plenty of mags to sell with them and then it actually promotes the Stoeger brand in handguns, especially with that dealer that gets to sell the guns with little more margin, plus ammo, plus mags. Its not rocket science, plus you get instant market comparison feedback from actual users.
KYGunco found my breaking point, 232.85 with free shipping was too good to refuse with Stoeger running the rebate again even if it is the Calif Compliant 10rd model. I already have a STR-9c, was so impressed I picked up a STR9-SC, and now the MC all for less than $200/ea after rebates/shipping/transfer fees, and while they are glock style guns, they are just as reliable yet better ergonomically and come with the equivalent of an upgraded glock trigger at this price bone stock. These guns have got to be Beretta's way of saying FU to glock. The upgraded version with night sight, optic cut, and 3 mags is a good deal too but adding an optic would take it back out of the pocket carry class for me, found that out with the Beretta APX A1Carry w the Burris on it. Stoeger and Tisas have both developed excellent striker fired trigger systems compared to most of the others that are mushy, have too much travel, long reset, etc and I have a policy against modifying or upgrading triggers myself.
I feel the same way about it, Steve. I bought it immediately after seeing the ad.
Spare Mags from shop stoeger and "Whole Guns" IWB holster from Ebay came Tuesday, gun arrived too late in afternoon at FFL to pick up yesterday, so will today. I guess I can already do the hardest part, loading new mags to capacity, as Stoeger definitely uses strong springs that will have no issues being left loaded all the time. Nice to go from Start to Finish in under a week, thanks KYGunCo, where in stock meant, in stock.
Picked it up yesterday so my hands hurt today! Everything I expected, aggressive texture on smaller grip that feels very secure in your hand, double spring on stainless steel recoil rod makes it stiff as can be, ouch, same for mags, ouch, ouch ouch. Initially, I got 9 out of 10 into both the stock mags with moderate struggle, 10 out of 11 into the 11 rd mag with plenty of struggle, then 11 in the 15rd mag before it got impossible. After a couple of hours, I got the last rd in the 10rd and 11rd mags, one more in the 15rd mag but thats it, 13 out of 15 and my hands hurt too much to try any more right now and I cracked/broke the little plastic loading tool trying that last round. Nice quality finish and everything functions with precision too, just too stiff right now, gun and mags need break in before carry time and time for my fingers to recover too. Incredible bargain!
Been awhile since I bought one from KYGunco, how nice it is to get it shipped within 48 hours, not weeks, with no added credit card fees, sales tax or shipping costs. Whenever you can pick up a reliable, easy to shoot carry gun for this net price, it makes a great backup to go in the car safe. I found a "Whole Guns" IWB holster (also good for the deluxe version of the STR9-mc with a red dot) on Ebay I really like for 40 bucks, a 13 rounder and an 11 round mag at ShopStoeger for $33 apiece, both set to arrive on Tuesday and the gun gets to my FFL on Weds, so my backup kit is all set as I usually ccw a Kimber Micro 9.

Update - Received the $75 rebate yesterday :)
