Give 'em a call. They might apply the code to the order you placed last night and credit you back the price difference. Just tell 'em you forgot to add the code. 713-344-9600 - It couldn't hurt to try.

8/23/22: The Turkish guns are gtg. More guns in the marketplace is a good thing. If you bide your time and be ready to snatch up a deal when a reabte kicks in you can get some very nice guns at a more than fair price.

Agreed. I have a few Canik's and a SAR P8L. And they all shoot extremely well. SAR (Sarlimaz) have some good firearms, but there's very little support when it comes to accessories. I want the SAR K12 sport, just wish there were accessories available. Canik accessories are more available and growing by the day. I have the TP9SFX and you can get a +9 mag extension for 27 + 1 pistol capacity, that also looks badass on the pistol.

I don't own a Stoeger but at this price, and with comments like yours and others, I'm buying a couple of these.

8/26/22: I have one of almost every brand of Turkish gun on the market, I got the Stoeger STR-9 this summer for less than $200 after rebate. Magazines can be had *a little pricey* I'll bide my time just like I did with my first Canik. Took about three years for the aftermarket accessories to catch up. Some of the Turkish guns like my SAR B6P use CZ-75 mags. I look pretty close into the total cost of ownership of a gun and what acquiring spare magazines cost.

I have 2 of these in full size, 2 compacts, a SAR9 & a Canik & these win hands down. All 4 break at 3.5#

I have a couple Caniks and a SAR P8L (I love that pistol), and now at this price I'm buying a couple of these. Thanks for the comment!

Well I just bought the SAR USA SAR9, I'm very curious about how these stack up with the SAR9? Obviously both budget pistols with many common features but the Stoeger definitely seems to have a much sleeker slide than the "Glock like" frame of the SAR9. Both feature a HK/Walther type grip frame. I'm very interested in the trigger comparison. The new SAR9 I just bought so far after 200 rounds has been 100% reliable, easy shooting and pretty accurate however the triggers are a bit creepy and gritty. They have about a 6lb pull but lots of take up. I'm going to do a "Glock polish trigger job" and see how much of a difference it makes. I've seen many of reviews saying a Dremel and compound can make the trigger much better and alot smoother, so that's my plan. I do the same thing on most of my budget guns, starting out doing it to the Taurus PT111 G2's of which I've owned probably a dozen over the years. Anyone have these and the SAR9 For side by side comparison?

I like my SAR9. As part of my research into the SAR9 this is one of the tools I used. https://www.handgunhero.com/compare/stoeger-str-9-vs-sarsilmaz-sar-9...
Not as good as actual hands on but it helped me narrow it down.

I’m sure you have but have you tried Canik? You won’t have to touch the trigger.

For a striker fired gun, Canik triggers are better than anything out there that’s not a Walther.

That's because the canik is based on the Walther. Which is a smart move
