This is an awesome shotgun for the money. Mine has been flawless. The action is smooth as a babies butt.
The additional KGO "no cash discount fee" of $16.44 makes the total $565. Not really a great deal.
I got the when with ghost ring sights runs flawlessly very light. Runs target load perfectly with the right spring ($20)
This is a pretty good option as a step down from the Beretta 1301 Tactical (~$800-$900), which is a step down from the Benelli M4. Looks to be a decent and flexible furniture setup, and the action has been well-proven in the 3-Gun circuit - with lots of aftermarket support.
I personally went with the 1301, as it’s nearly perfect right out of the box. But there are plenty enough Stoegers out there to prove viability as a defense weapon (with some work).
Hard pass for me on the 930 platform, as it’s not known to be reliable across the board with variations to the load.
No thanks on the Turkish snow cone : Mossberg 930 for $399.00 all day.
