Very underrated gun. This is what the Glock 19 should have become if it was allowed to evolve. The grip on this gun is the most comfortable I've ever held on a pistol. Only major complaint is the trapezoid sights take some getting used to.
The sights are actually my favorite part. I tried to finding them for other pistols but never could find anything that quite fit the bill.
I was not sure about Steyr handguns; but this handgun is now one of my top 5 favorites. The only thing I will say is this. “Wow I’m extremely surprised how easy was to shoot, the accuracy and the way it feel in your hand like is part of your hand”.
I paid $599 plus tax from SMGA and I thought that was good, but free shipping AND no tax outside of florida makes this a really great deal.
Didn't know the new version of the M9 was out yet. I will be holding out for the L9 to come back in stock though
Mostly the longer sight radius. Longer barrel helps a little too with velocity and recoil. Most of my pistol shooting is in competition so every little bit helps though I'd prefer something even longer than the L9 with at least a 5" barrel. When given the option with the A1 pistols I even opted for a threaded barrel just for the length.
Could be either the slightly longer sight radius, or it could be aesthetics.
Got mine last night. Smaller that it looks in the photos and almost the same size as a glock 19, except the mag base sticks out a bit longer. Highly recommended.
