Stag Arms Pursuit Black Stainless Steel Bolt Action Rifle - 308 Winchester - 18in - The Stag Pursuit represents the next generation of user-customizable, lightweight precision hunting rifle. With an Aero Precision-built 700-pattern action and tri-lug bolt, the Pursuit provides an incredibly smooth cycle and 60° throw for lightning-quick follow-up shots. The bolt handle is RPR compatible, so there are tons of aftermarket options if you want to replace it. The chassis is a 3-part modular design comprised of magnesium alloy receiver, glass-filled polymer stock, and aluminum forend—enabling easy future modification with new stocks and handguards that will completely change the look and application of the rifle.

The 700-pattern action is crafted from 416R stainless steel and features a nitride finish for corrosion resistance as well as a top-side Picatinny rail. The bolt can be easily disassembled WITHOUT the use of tools, and the 18in fluted barrel is easily replaceable with a Zermatt wrench and vise.

The polymer stock features an adjustable cheek piece, and can be adjusted for different lengths-of-pull via included spacers. The stock and forend are easily removed, the stock uses a crossbolt takedown pin, making it a simple matter to reconfigure the rifle with skeletonized components or the like in the future.
