Exactly. Most likely some scam / fraud
XDs and XDM Elites are best striker fired guns imho - lowest recoil, the most comfortable grips, hyper reliable as a tank comparable only to HK. Price has been amazing as well. Overall, my favorite pistol line - the best and the most reliable 10mm used by Alaskan rangers and locals for bear defense, wonderful 45acp carry option the best for the caliber along with the G30 and superb 9mm models. Highly recommended
Plus unlike other strikers, due to the grip safety you can safely and quickly reholster them without a need to remove your holster like you do it for Glock. And unlike the ones with manual safeties you don't need to remember to disengage it during the defense moment - it's best of 2 worlds
I've personally never been a fan of the XD line of pistols. In my experience and opinion, they are bulky, heavy, and do not fit my hand well. I do not like the grip safety. I also think that most of the sights, especially these on this pistol suck. Under stressful situations where one may be sweating and or say in the rain, these pistols are hard to get a good purchase on. I just think that there are many better options available on the market today. I believe that Springfield is a good company, they have just not progressed and refined their XD line enough to make it a worthwhile purchase.
